When Should I Order my Wedding Invitations?
We recommend that you arrange an official quote from Quick Creations anytime within 3 to 12 months prior to your wedding. All details should be finalised for your order at least 3 months before your wedding date. Don’t worry if you have left it later than this as we will be able to put a rush on your order to get it out in time!
How many wedding invitations should I order?
You may have set a limit on the number of people that you wish to invite to the wedding and reception. We recommend that you order a few spare wedding invitations to allow for mistakes, to invite replacement guests if anyone cannot attend your wedding and to keep as souvenirs. Remember, if you need to order more wedding invitations later there is a minimum order of 5 extra invitations.
How long will it take between ordering my wedding stationery and receiving delivery?
Quick Creations aims to complete your wedding stationery within 2-4 weeks of receiving proof confirmation & full payment. If you require your wedding stationery sooner, we offer an express service to complete your order sooner. Please advise us if you would like to have your order made a priority (note: a small surcharge will be incurred for placing a rush order).
Can I order samples?
At this time we don’t offer made samples however a computerised proof and mock-up within your official quote and invoice will be emailed to you before your order is printed.
Is there are minimum order value?
There is no minimum order value, however there is a minimum invitation quantity of 12 and reorder minimum of 5 invitations if extras are needed after your initial order is completed.
Do I need to order all my stationery items in one go?
You can order everything you need all at in one quote, however it is often the case that the quantities for your other stationery items depend on the response from your wedding invitations. We offer a split the bill style order, meaning you can order all items at the same time, and pay for them as they are required.
for example if you order: Invitations, Guest Name Printing, Envelopes, Envelope Printing, Wishing Well Cards, RSVP Cards, Place Cards, Menus & Table Seating Chart.
When you are ready to have your Invitations printed you just need to pay for all stationery required at the same time – Invitations, Guest Name Printing, Envelopes, Envelope Printing, Wishing Well Cards & RSVP Cards.
Then all other items will be finalised and paid for around your RSVP date – Place Cards, Menus & Table Seating Chart.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a $100.00 deposit is required within 2 weeks of receipt of your official quote! Please note all funds paid are non refundable as they are used to book in your wedding & purchase the products needed for your specific order. Your initial $100.00 deposit is deducted from the final balance of your whole order.

How do I pay for my order?
We accept payment via Pay Pal to email@example.com or via bank deposit.
(note: Credit Card payments can also be made via Pay Pal even if you don’t have a paypal account – send funds to firstname.lastname@example.org for instant payment!)
Orders placed directly on our website through our Shop & Shopping Cart can be completed via Paypal or Credit Card!
Do you Price match?
Yes, just tell us where you saw it and as long as they have it in stock we will price match and even try to better it! Made for you invitations just bring in a genuine written quote and we will do the best we can!
When should I order Practical Bombonieres?
If you would like to place an order for any of our Practical Bombonieres please allow a minimum of 4 weeks before your date as they can take 2-3 weeks to arrive. They are subject to availability so the sooner you order the better to secure your favourite design.
Bombonieres are ordered in when we receive full payment only as they are special orders.
What happens if my Bombonieres do not arrive before my wedding date?
Please note Quick Creations is not responsible for the transport of the bombonieres and our international/national suppliers postage times. We recommend to order and pay in full for your bombonieres a minimum of 4 weeks before your date to ensure they arrive for your special day. They may take 2-3 weeks in the post but please don’t leave it too close to your wedding to order and make payment :)
Our wedding has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, are we able to get a refund on our payment?
It is very sad to hear that on occasion weddings are cancelled, unfortunately all products are ordered in and prepared for each specific wedding which absorbs the funds paid. It is mentioned on all of our quotes and invoices that all funds paid are non refundable, as we need to purchase in large quantities of the products to cater for each wedding.
What wording should I choose for my wedding invitations?
We have a number of suggested wording & font templates that we will email you with your official quote, but you are welcome to provide us with the wording of your choice, providing it fits onto the design selected. Please ensure that you email us your wording to email@example.com , and take extra care to check nothing is missing and all spelling & wording is correct, as this will be the text we use. We will then format your text into your selected fonts & layout for you at no extra cost.
Can I include additional information with my wedding invitations?
Often the bride and groom will wish to add extra information such as directions to the church and reception, details of hotels, wishing well poems, etc. We can print this information for you on separate inserts to coordinate with your wedding invitations.
When do I send out my wedding invitations?
Ideally, you should send your wedding invitations out approximately 3-6 months before the wedding to allow your guests to reply by your RSVP date.
When should the RSVP date be?
At least 4-6 weeks before the wedding date, this is to allow time for your venue to finalise the catering and seating arrangements. This will also give you time to follow up any invited guests that haven’t responded by the date.
How much time to you need for our Coordinating Stationery, such as:
Place Cards, Menus, Bombonieres, Order of Service Booklets & Table Seating Charts etc?
These items can be included within the original quote/invoice along with your invitations or a separate order closer to your wedding date. Please send through final list of names and wording around your RSVP date allowing a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your wedding date for us to complete your order.
What are printed envelopes?
If you choose to purchase envelopes for your Wedding Invitations from us in either a plain white or a metallic white finish you can also add your guest names and or addresses printed to the front for an additional $0.50ea
Does the bride or groom’s name go first on our Invitations?
Bride goes first … this comes from tradition, the Brides family giving their daughter away. Once married, the husbands name comes first. However if you would prefer it the other way around just let us know as we are happy to accommodate any family traditions!
We love your Invitations & Coordinating Stationery, can we customise with our own colours?
Absolutely! Quick Creations is all about creating the perfect invitations and stationery to coordinate and compliment your wedding. We have many paper & ribbon swatches at our home office and showroom in Craigmore for you to touch and feel to pick the perfect combination and create unique invitations just for you!
Is your website printed onto our invitations?
Yes, www.quickcreations.com.au is printed in small text onto the reverse of every invitation & coordinating stationery product that we make as our stationery is designed, printed and made by hand by Quick Creations. Our invitations are made to order and customised for our bride and grooms, and are proud to show their wedding guests that they have ordered beautiful invitations & coordinating stationery by SA’s best Wedding Stationer!
Should I send Save The Date cards?
If your wedding is taking place during the busy summer months, it is advisable to send out save the date cards to your guests between 6 – 12 months in advance. Your wedding invitations will then follow closer to the time. Similarly, if your wedding is overseas or requires your guests to make a number of arrangements, then save the date cards are ideal to ensure enough time is allowed.
Should we include guests’ children’s names on the invitations?
If you are inviting children to your wedding, you should include their names on their parents’ invitations. If your guest’s children are not included on their invitation they should assume the invitation is for them only. If you are not inviting children to your wedding, it would be polite to include a line at the bottom stating this, for example. “please no children” or “adult only event”.
What if guests can’t attend and I wish to invite others?
If a number of guests cannot attend your wedding it is generally acceptable to send invitations out to others, as long as you sent your original invitations out early enough. This should be done as soon as possible however to avoid guests feeling second choice!
Should I send invitations to family or close friends I know cannot attend?
It is courteous to send invitations to family and close friends you know cannot attend as a polite gesture. This is usually greatly received, kept as mementos and seen as nice token for those who wish to attend but cannot.
